English Theatre at our school

Friday was a very special day because we had a visit from Look Out Theatre Company. They performed so well and made everyone laugh and join in! We had already rehearsed a few of the well-known children's songs, such as 'Head, shoulders, knees and toes' and 'In the Jungle', so it was fun to sing along!

El passat divendres va ser un dia molt especial perquè vam tenir la companyia de Teatre Look Out a la nostra escola. Van actuar molt bé i ens van fer riure. Havíem assajat unes cançons i va ser divertit cantar-les tots plegats.

My favourite person, Prezi

Our 3rd cycle have been busy putting together an online presentation about their favourite person, using Prezi presentations. They have used descriptions in English, a youtube video and a photo to make the presentation look fun and interesting! We are very pleased with the results. 
El tercer cicle ha estat molt ocupat preparant una descripció del seu personatge favorit, fent servir la pàgina web Prezi. Han fet descripcions en anglès, han buscat un video i una foto per fer-lo més atractiu i interessant! Estem encantats amb els resultats.

Last week, we received a very special gift from Pallaresa school. The've made an album with pictures about their school!

La setmana passada vam rebre un regal molt especial de l'escola Pallaresa. Ens han fet un àlbum de fotografies de la seva escola!

ENGLISH DAY WITH P-5

This year P5 group are going to be in contact with other children from Pallaresa School in Santa Coloma de Gramanet. They are getting very excited to finally meet them in person in May! This month we've prepared a presentation about our school. 

Aquest curs el grup de P5 estarà en contacte amb alumnes de l'escola Pallaresa de Santa Coloma de Gramanet. Estan molt contents per conèixe'ls en persona a la trobada que farem al mes de Maig! Aquest mes els hem preparat una presentació sobre la nostra escola. 

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014

We've been so busy preparing Christmas decorations and rehearsing plays at this wonderful time of year! We have recorded two plays, including 'The Small Christmas Tree' with 1st Cycle, and 'Merry Christmas' with 2nd Cycle. We have also learnt many songs along the way! Louisa has taught the students a few Christmas traditions from the UK, including pulling the Christmas crackers. We decided to make our own, which you can see in the photo below! Inside we put a riddle, a paper crown and a chocolate Santa. Louisa also made a Christmas presentation, explaining how Christmas is celebrated in the UK, and we were able to watch a video clip of 'Walking In the Air' from the famous children's story, 'The Snowman'. YOU CAN ALSO WATCH THE RECORDINGS FROM THE CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL.  THE RECORDING OF THE FIFTH GRADERS IS VERY SHORT BECAUSE WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH TECHNOLOGY, SORRY AND WE HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!

GAMES IN ENGLISH

Pre-primary, 3rd &4th have enjoyed a very special English class.  They have listen to stories and play games in  English with a different teacher, Mª José. THANK YOU, WE'VE ENJOYED A LOT.

Educació Infantil, 3r i 4rt han gaudit d'una sessió en anglès molt especial. Han escoltat contes i han jugat en anglès amb una professora diferent, Mª José. GRÀCIES, ENS HO HEM PASSAT MOLT BÉ.
