MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014

We've been so busy preparing Christmas decorations and rehearsing plays at this wonderful time of year! We have recorded two plays, including 'The Small Christmas Tree' with 1st Cycle, and 'Merry Christmas' with 2nd Cycle. We have also learnt many songs along the way! Louisa has taught the students a few Christmas traditions from the UK, including pulling the Christmas crackers. We decided to make our own, which you can see in the photo below! Inside we put a riddle, a paper crown and a chocolate Santa. Louisa also made a Christmas presentation, explaining how Christmas is celebrated in the UK, and we were able to watch a video clip of 'Walking In the Air' from the famous children's story, 'The Snowman'. GAMES IN ENGLISH

Pre-primary, 3rd &4th have enjoyed a very special English class.  They have listen to stories and play games in  English with a different teacher, Mª José. THANK YOU, WE'VE ENJOYED A LOT.

Educació Infantil, 3r i 4rt han gaudit d'una sessió en anglès molt especial. Han escoltat contes i han jugat en anglès amb una professora diferent, Mª José. GRÀCIES, ENS HO HEM PASSAT MOLT BÉ.

HALLOWEEN in P4 and P5

Patch has taught us how they celebrate Halloween in his country! 

En Patch ens ha ensenyat com celebren la festa de Halloween al seu país!

Hello everyone!!!

This Halloween Louisa, our Speaking Assistant,  has explained to all the Primary students this traditional festival in the UK. She has practiced a chant and some vocabulary with them. The 6th graders have made a Jack-o-Lantern as every year.

Per a aquest 31 d'octubre,  la nostra Auxiliar de Conversa, Louisa  ha explicat a tots els alumnes de Primària i també als de P-5 com és la tradicional festa de Halloween en el seu país. Ha practicat una rima amb ells i els ha ensenyat nou vocabulari.  Els alumnes de 6è han fet una carbassa decorada com cada any.

I'm a policeman song P5

This October with Patch we've met a policeman and he has reminded us some parts of the face and of the body, among other things. We have also dressed as a policemen to sing and to dance a song, "I'm a policeman song."

Aquest mes d'octubre amb en Patch hem conegut un policia que ens ha recordat algunes parts de la cara i del cos, entre d'altres coses. També ens hem disfressat de policies per cantar i ballar una cançó, "I'm a policeman song".

WHAT'S NEW THIS COURSE?

This year we're going to have an English Speaking Assistant from October to May. Her name is Louisa Sadler and she's from England. She's going to help all the students with the speaking. Here you are a photo when she was explaining to the 5th graders where does she come from.

Aquest any tindrem una Auxiliar de Conversa en llengua anglesa desde octubre a maig. Es diu Louisa Sadler i es d'Anglaterra. Ajudarà a tots els estudiants amb el tema de la parla en anglès. Aquí teniu una foto d'ella explicant als alumnes de 5è on viu.

ST GEORGE 2013

We've celebrated St George writing a poem as every year. The 1st award in the 5th level was for Sara with the poem Spring and the 2nd one for Georgina with her poem Pompeu Fabra.

The 1st award in the 6th level was for Ruth with the poem The colours of my life and the 2nd one for Ana with her poem The boy I like.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!

The P-4 graders have danced a chant about the EASTER RABBIT.

THE JUNGLE

El dimarts 26 de febrer els alumnes de P-4, P-5 i 1r van anar a veure a Can Butjosa una obra de teatre en anglès.  Ha estat molt bé.
On Tuesday 26th February, the P-4, P-5 and 1st graders have gone to Can Butjosa to see a theatre play in English. It was GREAT!!!

ROBIN HOOD

Friday 25th January.
Today the Primary ( unless the 1st graders) students of our school have enjoyed a lot with the theatre play Robin Hood. As you can see in the photos there have been a lot of volunteers.

Divendres 25 de gener.
Avui tota la Primària menys 1r, han gaudit molt amb l'obra de teatre de Robin Hood. Com podeu veure en les fotos hi ha hagut una pila de voluntaris.
